car seat carrier or bob car seat attachment??

Which would you buy? We have a Bob stroller ordered and on its way, trying to decide between getting the infant seat attachment or getting a universal snap and go type frame for the carseat? They are around the same price.

If it makes a difference I'll be flying w/ the baby when she is around 8 weeks old so I will need something for the airport.

  • Normally I'd say go with the infant seat attachment for the BOB but since you'll be flying I'd definitely go with the snap and go.  The airlines do not treat strollers very nicely at all and I'd not risk the damage to your nice BOB.  Plus the snap and go is small and much easier to transport.

  • I agree with the other PP.

The only concern is that I am not sure if you need to go anywhwere that has a rougher terrain in the meantime.

  • If you plan on using the BOB to go running with LO, you'll need to use the carseat adapter when the baby is younger than 6 months.

We too are getting a BOB and were trying to decide as well, until my SIL pointed this out....if you plan to get the snack tray, it is the infant seat adaptor that it hooks onto! So you will need it regardless if you use it for the infant seat--something we didn't realize either!

Needless to say, though we were trying to save a little money and just go with the snap-n-go we will now be getting both.

Look out baby #3 is on his/her way!
