Trouble TTC

It's on like donkey kong !

My RE just called and told me to trigger on Sunday night at 10pm and I will have my IUI on Tuesday morning ! Smile

DH has to go in at 7 to "do his thang" and I go at 8:30. How long should I expect to be there from start to finish? They said that they may have me lay down for 10-15 minutes afterwards so I'm just curious how long I will be out of work. Since it's the RE is in next building over from where I work, I'm debating even telling my boss I am gone.

  • That's awesome!  For me, the IUI went really fast.  Maybe a couple of minutes max.  It was over before I really knew it even happened.  I did have to lay with my hips up in the air for 15 minutes afterwards.

    GL!

  • You'll be there like a half hour.  It's basically like a pap smear, only takes a few min, then you lay there for about 15 min.  My RE sets a timer and comes back in after 15 min, tells me my H's count, then I get dressed and leave.  Good luck!!!

Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
  • Thats awesome!  Are they going to do another monitoring appt before then?  Just curious...

As for the time... like ppl said it's about a 1/2 hour total.  I think its even less for me because my RE only has me lay there for 5 minutes.

Good luck.  Fingers crossed for you!!!!:)

I asked them and they said they didn't think it was needed (another us).

Ok, this is really good to know that all of you ladies were there for only 30min or so. I can pull that off w/o my boss knowing I'm gone .Smile
