Probably stupid sewing question

Is there any use for those little thread scraps you trim after you're done sewing a seam? I'm collecting quite a pile of them and can't think of anything to do but toss them ... but I figured I'd ask.

I have this problem too....I try to leave less length to be cut off, but it still piles up and then just ends up in the garbage.

I once made a pincushion out of scrap fabric and stuffed it with dryer lint and those annoying thread tails.

But that's really all I can think of to do with them. They're one of the things that I feel no guilt whatsoever about trashing

Yeah, I won't cry any tears over them, but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some golden opportunity to feel super-thrifty
