I have to say that I get a little bit of a kick out of watching male co-workers get uncomfortable at the mention of the word "breastfeeding." ![]()
Most of my male co-workers are used to BFing women, because we've had so many. But it's still funny and I usually refer to it as "gotta take care of feeding the baby."
Re: Male Co-workers and Breastfeeding
We only have one guy in the office; recently married, 25 years old, no kids. He was very "weirded-out looking" when I first mentioned that I had to pump on my lunch and afternoon break. Now I just say I'm "doin' my thing" and he has seemed much more comfortable about it.
Personally, I hate when my mom asks me how "pumping my breasts" is going.
That's what I waould say too. My co-workers would get all flustered, it was hilarious.
LOL! That's pretty funny. I don't think I'll be able to be quite as candid with my coworkers (I work with ALL men), but I'll be proud of myself if I use that line...
