Babies: 9 - 12 Months

What was baby's first "solid" food?

And I don't mean pureed baby food....I mean like actual food-food! ?Smile Not that baby food isn't, but you know what I mean!! ?Did you do the puffs or cut up fruit or? ?And when did you do it...I read on the puffs box that they should be crawling, but my LO isn't yet. ?He has been eating pureed baby food for about a month now.

?

Looking forward to reading responses!?

  • Puffs - but I cut it in half.
  • Loading the player...
  • Plain cheerios.  They dissolve very quickly.  I broke them in half for several days, now I just give them to her whole.

  • Accidentally? Sticky bun.

    On purpose? Macaroni and cheese.

  • Puffs...my DS is 10 months old and still not crawling! I think we'll be skipping that milestone! He's done puffs since he was 7 or 8 months old!
  • Puffs.

  • Well, we started with puffs.  She loves mandarin oranges too!  DD started at 6 mnths with pureed and some solid's came shortly after.  We haven't ventured too far out of the box though.  This morning she had a few bites of toast, some hashbrowns and applesauce since we were out to breakfast.  I am sure my Pedi would kill if he knew, but she loved it!
  • He's doing great on Baby MumMum's, and I'll probably try puffs next.  He also likes to suck on lemons.

I thought Joseph was all alone! He loves lemons. He's always stealing them out of our drinks.
