Mucus in nose

How often do you suction out LO's nose? What color is it usually? DD has had a stuffy nose the past few days, and I've had to suction the mucus out in the morning. This morning it was a little green... normal?

  • Hey!!  Myles has been getting "trap door boogies" so its hard for him to breathe at night.  I usually suction when its real bad or is preventing him fom sleep.  I think they are a greenish yellow.  How's your little one besides the boogies?

That's how I would describe hers too. She seems fine, not acting sick or anything. Thanks :)

Haha!  No worries!  He's doing great Thanks!  He sleeps from 8p-3a which is awesome!  We've been to the beach with him twice and he slept the whole time in his little tent.  It's from "one step ahead" and it pops open itself - so awesome!  Haven't been out on my parents boat yet, but they keep begging us to let him come out on it to Washburns, I just think he's too young still.  Have you been to the beach yet?  I'm not out on the bikepath as much now because the heat has been unbearable!

  • I'm glad he's doing well! We've been to the beach once and my moms pool a few times... its definitely been pretty hot. I've gone on the bike path a few times... my friend has a 3 week old but one of the babies always overheats or gets hungry :) I haven't taken her out in the boat yet either, might wait until next summer! We've a actually been thinking about selling our sailboat because we probably won't use it for a few years. I'm glad he's been sleeping well too! Riley went 10 hours last night. .. love it!

  • DD has been super congested lately, so i usually suction when i hear that it's rattly or see it up there. It has always been white.
