I haven't had my test yet but I'm pretty sure it will be soon. Last time I failed the 1 hour and never got to take the 3 hour I'm not sure if their is a difference w/ multiple/singleton pg's...but I'm a little worried since I failed last time.
Are there some symptoms I should be looking for? I plan on asking at my next appointment on the 6th, but thought I would ask all you smart ladies!
Re: I'm worried about having GD...
With my first DD I passed the one hour with no problems. This time I failed the one hour and passed the three hour just fine. Don't stress about it. Many people who fail the one hour pass the 3 hour with no problems. Are you thirsty ALL OF THE TIME? That can be a sign of it but other than that just watch your sugar intake. I'm sure you will be fine.

I had GD with DS. It wasn't fun but it wasn't all bad. I didn't have any symptoms at all before I failed the test. I really didn't have any of the typical risk factors prior to getting pregnant (wasn't obese or anything). I was so upset when I got the diagnosis and thought it was my fault or that there was something I could have done to prevent it.
Anyway. I was able to control mine with diet and just taking 1/2 pill at night before bed. On the up side, I think it kick started my metabolism, lost all my baby weight and a lot more within a month. And in the end, even though the GD diet sucked, I came out with a perfectly healthy incredible little boy and that's the main goal anyway.
Hope your test goes well, and if it doesn't, the girls on the high risk board are an awesome support system!

Diets don't kick start your metabolism. While on the diet, you were simply eating fewer calories than you were burning. I bet you lost a lot of fat during the pregnancy, so once you gave birth and lost all the water weight that comes with pregnancy, you were skinnier than before you got pregnant. Well done though!
Most of us could benefit from doing a GD diet during pregnancy.
