She already seems on the mend. She slept through the night and drank a small bottle this morning. We're keeping her home again (she's with my mom), but I think the worst is over.
How long did you keep Elizabeth away from other kids? We have our company picnic tomorrow and I'm thinking I should probably not take her. I'd hate to infect any other kids!

Our pedi said that as long as she was fever free for 24 hours, it was OK to be around other kids. But just to be sure, we kept her out of daycare either 2 or 3 days.
Did your pedi say anything about how contagious she might be?
We traveled to a family party that Fri/Sat (diagnosed Mon of that week) and she was fine and none of her cousins got sick.
After 20 months, 3 Clomid cycles and 4 IUI cycles, IVF #1 with ICSI = BFP!
No, he didn't mention how contagious she might be. He just said to make sure we're are diligent about washing our hands since it could spread. He said it's highly unlikely, but I need to be extra careful cause I could spread it to the new baby in utero. That freaked me out a bit, but I'm not too worried.
She hasn't had a fever since yesterday morning so if she's feeling ok, we might be able to bring her tomorrow. DH read that they are more contagious prior to getting the outward symptoms. If that's the case, we should be ok. I guess I'll just play it by ear and see how she's doing tomorrow.
