Trixie is starting to grow on me...

Remember the bratty blonde girl from Problem Child?? My family keeps teasing that if it's a girl, she'll be a Trixie...and now I swear I'm kinda loving the name! I looked it up and the name means "blessed". Not "brat". :) 

 I'm also loving Birdie, from Hope Floats. Damn movies.

 By the way, I love True Blood, but I promise, I'll steer clear of Sookie. ;)

    That was the name of our previous chihuahua. MIL named her and I had no idea where she got that name from.

    Trixie is also the name of the adorable main character in the Knuffle Bunny childrens' books by Mo Willems...  totally usable!

     I've never heard of that children's series! Makes me feel better though that there's a Trixie that isn't evil. ;)

    I'm glad to hear there are positive characters named Trixie- I knew one in HS who was a hooker! LOL Glad to hear they don't all turn out that way!

    Birdie is usually Beatrice and Trixie is usually short for Beatrix which is funny that you unknowingly like the same/almost same root name :)
