vitex?

Hello ladies,

I've had 3 cycles post 2nd miscarriage. They have been 27-28 days, ovulation on CD 17, so I've had 10 or 11 day lps. I know that is not incredibly short, but I have also been spotting (some days closer to light bleeding with small clots) from ovulation until AF. I will see my ob sometime in the next two weeks, but I wanted to get some feedback on vitex. Would it help me? Should I wait until I ask the dr to start or should I start as soon as AF is over?

I would recommend asking your dr to run some bloodwork to check your progesterone.

the only thing that worked for my spotting so far has been red rasberry tea leaf in conjunction w/ vitex.

i tried vitex alone but it didn't seem to help w/ my spotting before af.

and i'd bring it up to your ob too.

Thanks, I will absolutely ask my ob I just wasn't sure if it was something I should get into right away.

My cycles were exactly the same. Slightly late O, 10 day LP and spotting starting as early as 6dpo. As soon as I started vitex, I went to a CD14 O and a 12-13 day LP. I definitely second the recommendation to ask for progesterone levels to be drawn - my OB put me on progesterone when I described my cycles.
