So I am relatively sure that something has gotten into the laundry vent to the dryer. *Insert freaking out Mystery here*
I do bugs, I don't do wildlife.
I've called the landlord who can come over on his lunch hour around 11:30 (he lives accross the street and works like 5 minutes away). I went and flip videoed the sound, but honeslty A) don't have the cojones to actually pull the dryer out and
what would I do if I found something?
Any advice? Or should I just get the h-e-double hockey sticks out of here?
Re: Wildlife in my laundry vent! Decamp or stay?
I don't know...something that would fit inside that metal dryer hose. That's what I heard first, what that tin foil crinkling sound from the laundry room...then I heard it in the wall between the kitchen and laundry room (vent runs up the wall the roof).
I've flip videoed the sound so landlord can hear it when he comes from both the laundry room and the kitchen...this is a landlord type issue, right?
My mom instilled a illogical fear of small running things (rodents specifically) and I am not dealing well. I guess if the landlord is coming I should pick up...Oddly enough I'm the one that kills bugs (DH comes and gets me to do it).
I've gotten over the initial freak out - even went and looked behind the dryer. It is FOR SURE in the vent - I could hear it move through the vent to the dryer end and then back up into the wall. I think the landlord could even wait till after work to come and I would be ok.
Off to make custard while C naps - I got a gallon of whole milk this morning for $1 because the sell by date is tomorrow...that's when I make panna cotta type items
