Good morning! I swore that I would only have one diaper bag, but I have 2 and he's not even here yet! Do you keep your bag stocked all the time with it's own supplies, or both bags if you have more than one? I don't mean diapers, clothes & toys, I was thinking more of rash cream, lotions, etc. I'm wondering if I should buy small sizes of everything to leave in each bag or do you just remember to grab the stuff from your changing table/area when you leave for the day? Also what about medicines? I have a small & large bag. Do you keep medicine in your larger bags, or just grab a first aid type kit when you're going to be out all day? And one more - the travel size wipes - can you refill those packs? I've read that you can keep some in a ziploc baggie but it seems like it would be better to have the small plastic container as long as it can refilled. Thanks as usual!

Re: stocking more than one diaper bag? What's always in there?
I have one diaper bag and I do keep it stocked all the time because it goes to daycare. Here's what I have in it: Diapers, Wipes, a small blanket, a change of clothes, a sunhat, bib, burp cloth, purell, sunscreen, socks, plastic grocery bags (for those stinky diapers), tylenol, nasal aspirator, mylicon, thermometor, teething gel, spoon, jar of food, a granola bar (for me), travel size baby lotion, diper rash cream, and vaseline (in a tube that was leftover from the hospital for circ care). I think that is it... I keep all the meds in a ziplock in one of the pockets.
The plastic travel packs are refillable, at least mine are, but I ended up buying a smaller count of wipes to keep in there (I want to say 40 or 70) because those plastic travel boxes don't hold much and tend to dry out if you don't use them often.
For the smaller bag I'd put the bare minimun in there. Wipes, dipers, and a onsie (for a quick trip to the store or something). I have a small one that they gave me in the hospital, but I almost never use it because I'm afraid I'm going to need somthing that is in my big bag.
