Up until a couple weeks ago I was feeling really good about how my body had "dealt" with this pregnancy. My babies are growing really well and I've gained less than 40 pounds at this point and aside from the swelling, I've been all belly.
For the past week I've been noticing that I already have a pouch of loose, fatty skin below my belly. My belly has dropped a little bit, could this be part of it? Did this happen to anyone else? Up until now my whole stomach has been round and firm.
I know there's nothing I can do at this point it just makes me sad, I miss my old body. I'm going to have issues with this after I deliver, I'm already having issues!
Re: I already have a lower belly pooch :(
That didn't happen to me, but don't freak out. I gained 56lbs and delivered at 37 weeks and I am now 5lbs less than my pre-pregnancy weight (I weigh 120lbs now). Your body may not be exactly the same as it was before - but I have found that I like mine better.
I was always self concious before I got pregnant - my body has changed, but I love it much more now and have much more confidence than I did before. Twins are an excellent diet / work out plan
Give it time - you will get it back. If it is a physical problem caused by the pregnancy - it can be fixed.
I just noticed it too and was freaked out. I've only gained 19 lbs because I've been on the GD diet. I didn't have much belly fat when I started all this so, I was surprised.
I'm just falling apart.
I've got it too. Baby A has been really low this whole pregnancy, and I swear it's her head hanging down and stretching my belly more. It hangs below where it should and I'm afraid of having a permenant dunlop! Luckily, my DH is cool with me having it surgically fixed when we decide we are done having kids, but still, I hope that it doesn't have to come to that.
I have it on the very bottom of my belly too and its the only area that has a stretchmark...
we're all very close in weeks-pregnant... maybe/hopefully this is normal? God I hope so, cuz its the only part of my belly I'm really not liking... It's hard as a rock everywhere else.
