Medela Bottles

Does anyone or has anyone used these bottles? If so, what are your thoughts on them.

Re: Medela Bottles

  • We used them some when ds was a newborn, they were ok. It was easy to pump into the bottle and then just use the bottle for a feeding. I ended up just using them to pump into after while, the one thing about pumping into them is that you know exactly how much you are pumping before pouring it into a storage bag, the storage bags are inaccurate.

  • Thank you for the info. I hadn't heard much about them so I wanted to check with others. I have heard good things about the Dr Brown's bottles...

  • I used them mainly to pump my breast milk into because they fit the pump.  I then poured the milk into Avent bottles.

  • I used these... especially when I was pumping.  They worked fine - I would recommend them!

  • I liked them. I also found that if you have a Medela pump, Gerber bottles fit onto the pump as well, so that was convenient.

I didn't care for Dr. brown. DS wasn't colicky or have gas problems- so the Dr. brown bottles were more of a hassle for us with all those dang parts.
