week 8 mild cramps- anyone else?

I've been having "uterine cramps"- or at least I think that's what it is. They're those dull, lower abdomine cramps that I felt when I missed my period- like really light menstrual cramps. I'm hoping that's all it is. Anyone else getting these?

We lost our last baby at 10 weeks and I'm starting to get nervous as we get closer to that time. I know that the chance DECREASES the further you are, but I'm getting more nervous. The last baby died because of a chromosomal mismatch. So....we should be OK with this one, but it's still scary.

Re: week 8 mild cramps- anyone else?

  • I asked my OB about this and she said as long as they are not so bad they are making me call her and not accompanied by bleeding, they are OK. Just stretching things out down there. I understand the nerves - we're in the window now of the time our first stopped growing and the time we found out about it. So I'm a bit of a mess at times, trying to get past that window!  Hang in there!! :)

  • I've been getting some mild cramps. From what I've read, it's pretty normal. I can't wait for my appt on Wed because I have so many questions. It's finally less than a week away!

  • Cramps woke me up this morning.
  • I'm at 7 weeks today and I still have them from time to time. I have since around the time I got a BFP.

I had them constant at first.  They weren't unbearable though.  Now they are on and off and I don't even think about them.  I figured when then become really severe and or accompanied with bleeding, then I would call.

  • I have noticed more cramps this week as well!  Not fun.
  • I have had cramps off and on from the beginning.

Last night I had a dull back ache and the dull cramps which INITAILLY freaked me out (google at 4:30 am isn't always good...)- bus is apparently just as normal as the cramping as long as neither are really bad and accompanied by bleeding.
