Um, I KNOW that baby. Completely appropriate. Him mom bfs and she is not the perverted type AT ALL.
eta - I've said this before and I'll say it again. I think it's completely inappropriate to post pictures of other babies on here to judge. I don't care where you got that picture, but I'm pretty sure YOU don't have the rights to it.

I don't get it. I thought OP said it was from an ad? That's nice of you to stick up for your friend, but if she cared what a bunch of internet strangers thought about her taste in kids' fashion, she wouldn't let her kid's picture be used for an advertisement. If I post a picture of an ad for some movie and say Brad Pitt's hair looks like crap, you gonna have a problem with that too?
I wanted to get two shirts: one that said supply for me and one that said demand for DD: take a pic of it and send it to her for Christmas (since she's awesome) but I got busy and forgot.

Brad Pitt is an adult and I'd think you were just odd if you posted about his hair on the bump. I actually would have a problem if someone posted a picture of anyone elses baby on here to be judged. Brad Pitts or my friends. If the op had a problem with a onesie, she easily could have linked it to a onesie. As a matter of fact, we've had a number of threads discussing onesies such as this with controversial sayings on them. Never before have I personally seen someone link to a baby wearing it and pointed fingers. This was a bad call on op and I stick by that.

Inappropriate for church, or for your family christmas photo? Yeah. But for hanging out at home, playing in the yard, or even just running to the store? Not a big deal. It's kind of funny.
This exactly!

But the photo is on the home page of the BL's website. So the picture was put out there for anyone and everyone to see. Would it have been better for her to just link to the site? It would have been the same thing. Plus nobody is judging the baby, per se, just the onesie the baby is wearing.

I think its cute. Doesn't bother me at all. When my SIL was here with my niece last weekend we went shopping. Niece who is 9 months old will not go to anyone, cries when anyone comes too close to her, and is all around a not very happy baby.
To lighten the mood, SIL bought her a onesie that says "I only cry when ugly people hold me".
While I don't put slogan shirts on my DD because their nms, I find them cute and funny on others.
I've just never been a fan of posting ANY babies/children on here besides my own (whether it's friends babies, famous peoples children, wierd pageant kids, or from ads). I don't think it's cool. I have stated this on previous threads. Obviously this one bothers me even more since I know this baby in real life.
And with that, I'm done. I just wanted to answer fairychick.

I don't think I'm a prude in any way but I definitely raised an eyebrow.
"I Like Boobs?!" Yuck! I kind of feel like it's perverting breastfeeding. I dunno maybe I'm alone in this.
(oh & for anyone wondering this pic came from an ad for BabyLegs.)

I love it. My former LC would have loved it.

It's a home photo. Not exactly a professional ad.
This exactly!
