D does plenty of ohhing and ahhing but no baba, lala, gaga, dada, mama, nothing. When did your baby start babbling and putting sounds together? When should I get concerned that his isn't doing all this?
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Re: Baby babble
Thanks when he saw the pedi for his 6 month she sounded disappointed that all he did was ahh and oohh. SHe said soon he should be gagaing. So I was getting nervous that he still hasn't!

It's posts like your that make me glad that my peid is a little more lax on this, they do not believe in EI until there is a clear cut reason to be concerned.
Dillon sounds perfectly normal to me, my DS was the same way at Dillon's age and he now totally normal on the developmental spectrum.
curious to see what responses you get because kaitlyn is in the same boat. glad to see we aren't the only ones!
They have been saying da da da da since last month, but only for about a week, and then they stopped altogether.
Lately though they have been saying nanada mama as if speaking in a sentence. They have also been yelling, screeching and fake coughing too.
