9. What is the last thing you do before you go to bed each night? After putting DD to bed, take a shower and brush my teeth. But if it's a weekday, the very last thing is set my alarm.

I have the wooden rocking chair and chest of drawers from my nursery/childhood/teen years, and I have refinished it and painted it white with ocean blue drawers. I bought a side table tonight off of craigslist for 10$ that will look great with the rest of the furniture. I've also bought the foam and fabric to make a seat and back cushion for the rocking chair. I started this project of refinishing the furniture before I was pregnant.
8. What is your favorite T.V. show? Don't really watch TV, but I have enjoyed a couple episodes of "Through the wormhole".
9. What is the last thing you do before you go to bed each night? I don't know! I just sort of crash after my 12-14 hour work days.

We called DH's parents, and they were with his sister, so we basically told his whole family. Then I called my two friends nearby who are also TTC, and emailed my therapist.

Changes from year to year, whichever one most recently gave me warm fuzzies. 4th of July was pretty great this year, actually.

I'm already 5'9 and 185 pounds, and I've never been able to pull off "cute". I'll try to look like I made an effort, at least.

Definitely neutral, if we have a nursery at all. DH and I aren't much into gender stereotypes (There was a power drill on our wedding registry, and everyone knew it was for me
, and we sleep in a converted attic that's just one huge space. I'm not sure how we're going to divide it up for kids yet.

This is boring, but I'd really like to get out to NY (we're in OR) to see some friends of ours this fall. Not sure if it'll work out or not, but they're older and it'd be great to see them before things get really crazy.

10. DH and I are going to the beach in September. This trip was planned in Feb. We are actually excited about it.
1. Besides your H, who was the first person you told (or will tell) about your pregnancy? Did you tell them over the phone, in person, via e-mail, etc.?
The next person after DH I told was actually my allergy doctor. I was scheduled to start getting my new shots the next day, and I wanted to see if it was still safe. Besides their office, it was my good friend from work. I told her in person on our last day before summer vacation.
2. What is your favorite holiday?
I think Christmas. It's the only time I can really tolerate/like the snow and cold and I like the decorations and being with family. Plus I love making homemade Christmas cards.
3. Do you think your maternity style will lean towards comfort wear or what looks cute?
At this point, it's whatever people give me. There are a couple people I work with who have already mentioned that I can borrow their maternity clothes. I have heard dresses/tights are really comfy and look cute.
4. If you've started reading pregnancy books, which one do you like the best?
I have skimmed through sections of "What to Expect When You're Expecting" My doctor recommended I get it and it's nice for the weekly updates and stuff.

A 2010 Pontiac Vibe
6. Are you picturing a neutral nursery for your baby or will you have one that is more gender specific?
Probably more gender neutral. I like fun colors and dun geometric or circle designs. Definitely not something too loud though.

Nope, not yet. Well, we saw a jogging stroller we liked and quickly looked at it, but that's it.

We just took our last big vacation to Punta Cana for a week. Our original intent was to go on the trip and TTC there, but it happened earlier than we expected. :-)

All of my family lives in my home state (Texas). So I called my sister as soon as I got the 2nd BFP. We?re waiting till our first sono 8/11 to tell the rest of the family.

I?m hoping I have lots of style when I?m big and pregnant. Although it seems that my largest months will be when it?s freezing in Oregon, so my guess is a lot of sweatpants and DH shirts.

I read a bunch of TTC books, but got too discouraged after 6 months of trying that I didn?t want to read any pregnancy books. If I could stay awake long enough I?d be at my nearest bookstore buying their entire stock.

Mazda 3. Has a nice hatchback and that SHOULD provide plenty of room for baby?s toys, stroller, diaper bag, and whatever else we can stuff back there.

Gender specific. Although if it?s a girl I want anything but pink and purple. Something cute without looking like a flamingo had morning sickness in there.

We?ve had our crib picked out from Target for about 1 year now. I haven?t really done much online browsing, just the trips into Target, and Pottery Barn Kids.

Any trash reality T.V. Teen Mom has been on the top of my list, along with Intervention. Sitcom I love Modern Family and How I Met Your Mother.
9. What is the last thing you do before you go to bed each night?
Besides the nightly snack of Hot Pockets? I usually tell my DH to back his truck up in bed so that I can keep warm.
10. If you had extra money saved up to treat yourself to one last vacation before the baby comes, where would it be?
We just got back from Waikiki Beach, so I?m pretty set on vacation. But Ireland has been on the top of our lists for years. Maybe in about 5 years?
