TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Credit Card Issue

I got a call and email from my credit card company's fraud department.  They locked down my account pending verification of recent charges on my card.  Now, we have bought a few larger items this months, but those had already cleared.  So what was it that set them off?  My 'foreign transaction' for FF Charting. 

Initially, I was worried about what was going on, but this just made me laugh.  And I was glad I just had to 'confirm' the charges and not explain any further. 

ETA:  Yes, FF has sucked me in with their VIP wiles.  I've been fine with the basic for about 8 months, but somehow, they wooing worked this time.

  • Ugh, that happens to us all the time.  It's really annoying, and embarrassing to be paying with my card in a store and have it declined because there's a security hold on it.

  • We had an issue with our one card when we were traveling cross country. We called ahead and let them know there would be charges in different states and they still froze it and didn't call or anything.
