Fill in the blank: I've spent a fortune finding the perfect ________.

For some people I hear it's bottles or pacifiers.

For us, it's swaddlers.  Before DS was born we bought 2 sleep sacks (not swaddlers, I know), and 3 Swaddle Me's.  He preferred to be tightly swaddled, so we bought receiving blankets.  At a friend's recommendation, we then bought 2 Swaddle Design Ultimate Swaddle Blankets.  He started breaking out, so we finally used the Swaddle Me's we bought originally, then returned to the store to buy 3 in a bigger size.  And I just rush-ordered a woombie :) 

For what products have you had to use trial and error to find the perfect fit?

    I wouldn't say a fortune, because they are relatively inexpensive, but we tried at least 6 or 7 different pacifiers.

    I have a feeling my answer is going to become - cloth diapers.

    ...but we also have one of every bottle and pacifier on the market. ;)

    Ugh, yes, I'm on the hunt for a new diaper bag, too.  DH won't love it as he thinks I spent too much on my first one!

    Have you tried Halo Sleepsack Swaddles!  They are by far my favorite!  My LO is no longer swaddled, and now sleeps in regular Halo sleepsacks.
