Why Do Poopy Heads Get PG and We Don't

There is a case I have at work that is breaking my heart. I have an autistic 3 yr old in my program whose mother recently up and left for India with no contact information. Apparently the father and mother divorced and the mother gave custody to the father. The settlement is crazy...stating that the mother is not monetarily responsible for the child in any way and only allowed visitations Saturday evening through Sunday evening and the father must know every move. She is allowed no unsupervised contact/conversations with the child without the father's permission. The father is a wonderful person and I totally feel for him. So recently...the mother has been contacting the school asking for updates and to speak with the little girl. The teachers are not allowed to give her any information and I had them forward her call to me today. She asked to speak with her daughter and I told her I was not able to do that. She began crying and begging on the phone for me to allow her to speak with the child telling me I didn't understand. She also asked if she could come to the school. The cold hearted b!tch in me came out and I calmly told her that SHE chose to give up custody of her child and neglect her...and that was what I understood of the situation. Then I told her if she came to the school I would have to call the police. She continued to cry, I said I was sorry, and I hung up. So why universe does this horrible person get to have children and we don't?!
