Bio Oil Review

Have any of you ladies used Bio Oil for stretch marks? Is it working for you and fading your stretch marks or just a wasted of money?

Re: Bio Oil Review

  • You won't know if it is working until you have an outside baby.  My stretch marks didn't start to fade until DD was about 4 months old.

I used Coca Butter belly butter my entire pregnancy.

i used it during & after. it didn't keep them at bay but i think it helped fade them faster.

they were pretty light to begin with- but even more so now.

but then again- the belly is getting bigger. so who freaking knows now. oy.

but yeah- i like it & it's cheaper at Wal Mart.

  • I started using it before we had DS2 in 2009 and i would stock pile it when I visited home because it wasn't available here yet.  Throughout my pregnancy with DS2 and after I didn't get any stretch marks and the ones I had faded.  I have already started using it again with this pregnancy.  Just wish I had had it when I was PG with DS1 but that was 13 years ago so oh well :(

  • I've been using it since about 13 or 14 weeks, I can't remember exactly. I don't have any stretch marks on my stomach yet (have a bunch on my thighs and calves and hips from puberty, but they are faded already), but I fully expect to get them on my stomach. My Dr. says the oils and creams don't keep them from forming, but I do notice I don't itch like a lot of people say they do. I am hoping that the Bio Oil will fade them faster when they do finally arrive.
