I would like to know at how many weeks did you have your first ultrasound?
I found out I was pregnant last Friday and on Monday I just met with a nurse who gave me some info and scheduled my first ultrasound at 10 weeks - I am currently 5w2d. I am wondering if that is normal or late to have a first ultrasound.

Did you get blood drawn?
My first appointment was yesterday, but it was just meeting the doctors (new area, new OB) and getting my blood drawn. I made my first u/s for Aug. 12th, when I'll be 9 weeks, so I think you're pretty normal. All offices differ, though. Was that when they recommended coming in or just first available?
With my twins, I had one at 6 and 8 weeks - saw then heard the heartbeats. I will have a sono at 6 and 8 weeks as well with this pg.
But, this is the only place where the infertiles WIN!!!!!
Twin boys born too early at 17w4d and 18w2d in February 2010
Transabdominal cerclage placed September 2010
DS born at 35w1d in February 2011
Twin girls born at exactly 36w in February 2013
Mine was on June 29th...I was about 4w. I don't know why it was that early but then they had me come back 2 weeks later and then we saw and heard the heartbeat. it was really awesome!! The practice I go to has women in their first trimester come ever 2 weeks to monitor. I don't mind, more pics!!

Ditto on the infertiles comment - while it really sucks to go through it we get loads of u/s (before and after we're preggers - I
the dildo cam!).
I had my first u/s today at 5week, 6 days. Saw the yolk sac, fetal pole and most importantly the hb flicker. I'll have an u/s with my RE until week 12 or so and then will be released to my OB and be a normal person again - unless I'm high risk cause I'm old (ahhh the fun).
With my first baby, my ultrasound was at 8 wks at my first appt. And that was just for dating purposes since my last cycle was so long, otherwise I wouldn't have had one until 18 wks.
With this one, I had bleeding, so I had one at 5 wks, 4 days and 7 wks, 4 days. Next only hopefully wont be until the big 20 week one.
I had my first ultrasound at 7w2d, We were able to see our "cheese curl" (as DH calls it) and the heartbeat.
When I initialy made the appointment the scheduler did say that they like to see you sometime between 8-10 weeks, which is what my LMP calculations put it at, however I have longer cycles, which made me not as far along.
I'm from the Twin Cities too:-)
LOL. I have to agree with this one -- minus the whole part about it totally sucking to actually GET pregnant!!
Being that I was with an RE I had an u/s at 5 weeks and another at 6 weeks 3 days -- see siggy for details.
I had one last Friday, but they didn't see anything at all. Since my betas came back looking great, I'll have another on Monday. Fingers crossed.
Some doctors only give one U/S at 20 weeks for an uncomplicated pregnancy. I'll probably have quite a few more since I've had multiple miscarriages and turning 39 in a few weeks.
with DD it was 6w 2 days at my first appt.
with DC#2 it's going to be 8w on the dot.
1st one was 5w1d where we we just saw the sac.
2nd one was 6w6d where we got to see the heartbeat.
Due to my 2 m/c last year, my doctor wants me to come in weekly throughout the 1st trimester.
I think 8-10 weeks for the 1st one is normal.
