O is getting his surgery on Monday. Yikes!

O has a little cyst that got infected on his chest. It's ballooned so much that we have to surgically remove it before it gets any bigger or infected again. This means DS have to fast until noon on Monday and be on general anesthesia. I'm freaking out as the day is getting closer!

Hope my little guy handles it better than me.

Oh, your poor little guy. ?I'm sure he'll get through it with flying colors! ?I can't imagine having to make a little one fast until noon. ?Yikes!!

Hang in there! My DD had to have surgery last month and she had to be put out as well. It was harder on me than it was on her. He will be fine...we'll be thinking of him!

Good luck!
Layla just had a procedure on Thursday and she was on anesthia (sp). I think the worst part was they couldn't get the iv in her. They tried 3 times while she was awake. They had to use the gas mask, which we watched. After we left the room they tried 2 more times and couldn't get it in. I hope Owen has better veins than Layla did. The amusing part was when they gave her a sedative. It was very sad to see her in a drunk like state, but also kind of amusing because she was being funny, so it made us laugh.
