Help diagnose my DD

This morning, I saw this big read slightly swollen and warm to the touch, and a little hard spot on DD's arm. It doesn't really look like a mosquito bite, which was my first thought because we spent some time in my parents' backyard last night and we've gotten bitten by mosquitoes there before.

She kept wiggling and I couldn't really get a good picture, but here what it looks like:

I agree with PP.  I think that it looks like a spider bite.

Spider bite IMO. DS had the same about a month ago. It was really hard too. Does it seem to be bothering her?

No, it really doesn't look like it's bothering her. But I'm keeping an eye on her just in case.

    Thanks for your help ladies!

  • My ds just had this about a week ago on his leg. I took him into the doctor and he said it looked like some sort of bug bite, or maybe a spider from crawling in the grass. He told me to keep an eye on it and if it didnt get better to bring him back him. It did take about a week or so to finally go away, and now it just looks a little bruised, but its much better then it was. Just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesnt get any bigger
