What bar soap do you use? Do you use what is cheapest? Why do you use what you use? I have extremely dry skin & want to make sure I get something that won't make me itch more than I already do.

I find that making soap with soap nuts is quickest and easiest and can be used on CDs and regular laundry. They're also pretty cheap.

I use Fels Naptha. I like the scent and I think it works well. I keep a bar at my wash tub to rub on stains. It has taken tons of stuff out. Coffee, grass, misc. food, etc.

Ok - so I was just looking over the recipe you have on the blog. How much do all those ingredients cost? And what do you store it all in?

I'm thinking around 60 for the whole thing of laundry detergent. I store it in a 5 gal bucket. I use a tbs per load.
