QOTW: I think I'm going to wait to decide what we are having. I do want to find a color scheme that fits with the rest of the house though. We have mostly earthy colors (tan, dark red, moss green)

I'm doing great so far (fingers crossed). No real updates.
As far as nurseries go, I've had a folder on my computer for awhile that I save links and pics of things that I like. I'd really like to do something animal-based for either a boy or a girl. Personally, I'm not a fan of flowers & butterflies or cars & sports as nursery themes, but I've definitely seen them done tastefully.
I'm 4 wks. 3 days. Symptoms coming in a bit more strongly, mainly achy boobs and nausea.
For nurseries, I've already bought the Little Dots bedding from Target (Dwell Studio) because it was on clearance. We are thinking we don't want to find out the gender, so we want a fun, modern neutral nursery. The colors will be browns, aqua walls, red and yellow. No themes....not how I roll.

Mind you, this is all depending on whether or not we sell the house and move into a new one before this baby is born.
We are changing the theme of DS's room to pirates. I don't like overly themey rooms so it will mainly be white and blue colors with a few well places pirate accessories in shadow boxes or on shelves.
As for the new LO's nursery, if it is a boy I think I want a biplane theme or maybe a nice earthy color palate with no real theme. If it is a girl we are going to for tiffany blue, light pink and cream with an antique kind of spin to it.

I'm doing great, too. A little crampy and my bbs are really tender, but nothing major.
QOTW: I actually won't let myself look at nursery stuff until after my first appointment in August. It sounds silly, but I want to wait until then...and then I'll dive headfirst into decorating ideas.
since we're (trying to be) team green i was thinking a brown and green themed room (maybe its subliminal from being on the bump). actually more of a chocolate and mint. but months ago i was in new orleans and found this great fish painting that's full of color and was thinking of going off of that, especially since the baby would be a pisces. but we live in an apartment, so i'll have to see if painting is even allowed. if not i'll just find some decals and things to hang up.
I'm waiting to find out what we're having before I get serious about it... I've been looking online a lot for ideas. So far I have no clue, but I'm sure DH and I will come together on something.
Our first u/s was on friday, all was great, and we got to see the heartbeat.
2nd u/s scheduled for friday, july 23
QOTW:
I think we are going to use colors as our theme... very simply and elegant i am looking at like a greyish baby blue with whie molding work if its a boy and ivory, black, and gold if its a girl with hits of pink. those are our thoughts for now.
No personal updates here.....so far no M/S. I have been feeling dizzy if I get up too fast and food is just meh to me. But so far so good!
As for the nursery, I haven't really thought much about it other than we have decided to buy wainscotting for the wall so the bottom half will be white. And DH is insisting we tear up the carpet in the LO's room and put in hardwood.
Married 8 years - Aug 23/08 DD - 6 years old, March 17/11 #2 due July 19th! (It's a boy!)
I'm feeling a bit better today, somewhat nauseous but a little less tired. Unfortunately, I've been uber emotional these last few days(poor DH). I tell myself that when the symptoms get worse that the baby is having a growth spurt - I'm sure that's not scientific at all. Hope you're all feeling okay this week!
QOTW: I like toile A LOT! It's so cute and classic. I'm sure the nursery will be some color toile. I'm excited to start looking once we find out if it's a boy or girl. I love HGTVs rate my space nurseries for inspiration.
personal updates: i'm telling my mom tonight and i'm so excited
QOTW: as you can see by my ticker i'm trying to will this baby to be a boy by surrounding myself with blue lol. i've started looking at nursery stuff but, i'm not much of a decorator. i'm going to need lots of help in that area
Good morning! Other than being COMPLETELY exhausted today (I almost have to hold my eyelids open at my desk! haha) and the nausea that is hanging around waiting to attack at any moment, I am doing great! I am thankful that it has rained and broken the crazy heat we have been having!
QOTW: At this point we are planning to use the same nursery decor, etc for #2 that we used for DD. We intentionally went with green and a super cute farm animal theme appropriate for girls or boys so that we wouldn't have to redo the nursery.
Instead, DD will be getting a big girl room! So I have started to look around for some ideas, but haven't come across anything I love yet!
I'm starting to feel better actually. I got sick once last week, but so far that has been it.
As for the nursery, we aren't really into themes. We will do tans, browns, white and maybe accent with pink or blue after baby is born and we find out if it is a boy or girl.

Personal updates: I'm still spotting since Thursday. I have my first u/s on Friday, so I'm praying everything is ok.
Nursery ideas: I love ratemyspace.com and have a ton of favorites saved of rooms that I love. As for specifics, we won't even discuss until after we determine the gender.
6w 3d today, have my u/s on Wednesday, which I am extremely excited about!
QOTW: Let's just way a head and talk about nurseries. Any ideas on themes, colors, bedding, etc.?
I'm thinking we might have bedding/paint colours of green/brown. Then once we find out if it's a boy/girl (on the delivery day) we can add little touches of either pink/purple or blue's I've been looking at some really cute animal bedding.

Well i was hoping for a girl but...i did the wedding ring on a necklace test, the chinease gender test, and some wierd test where someone puts a fork and a knife under a sofa...and all of them said i was carrying a boy. my mom also had a dream with a boy and my uncle who is a pastor said God showed him ou baby and described him just as my mom did. So I will now be looking for blue and brown nursery decor....i am just glad this baby is sticking
Oh..and I have that painting I made so i am going to add blue flowers on the tree when the 20 week u/s confirms

Psalm 139:13,15-16 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb... You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
Personal update: Just got a call from my dr's office. On the day I got my very faint BFP I also happened to have my yearly physical. My doc had me POAS and it came up negative, although she warned me that their test wouldn't detect any levels under 100. She had me wait a few days and get some blood work done. Results are in- I am "officially" KU (duh, 9 different + pee sticks can't be wrong!). Levels as of Friday were 149 which she said puts me at about 4 weeks (right on track with when I know I O'd). I started crying after I hung up the phone because hearing her say it to me just made it that much more "real!"
QOTW: I have seen a jungle/safari theme that I really liked (yellows, reds, oranges, browns, etc) which could be gender neutral. But also like pink and brown for a girl's room.
Update: I think the M/S is starting to appear. I definitely had some serious waves of nausea this morning. With DD it came full force the day I hit 6 weeks.
QOTW: I looked at some sites last week but nothing just jumped out at me. I think I *may* have found some bedding I like for a boy, and I will probably go with a lady I know here to make bedding if it is a girl. We will be moving DD into the guest room (much larger room), but she will be keeping all of her furniture, etc...so I am doing a whole new nursery for this baby.
Allie ~ 01/26/09 ~ 7 lbs, 9 oz ~ 20.75 in.
& Amelia ~ 03/16/11 ~ 8 lbs, 1 oz ~ 21 in.
I'm still feeling pretty good. My boobs haven't been achy since 4-5 wks, my nips are less sensitive, no fatigue, but I did have a couple of "ohhhh boy...." moments with nausea this weekend when I just didn't eat for 12+ hrs (sleeping in = breakfast later than usual).
DH and I started looking at nursery stuff this weekend. We maybe decided on furniture - we want a convertible crib and matching 3-drwr dresser that doubles as a change station in a cherry or espresso colour. We talked about paint colours and themes and browsed bedding collections at Lambs & Ivy online but haven't made any decisions or have any ideas really. I don't really like "themes" like jungle animals or anything, so we'll probably just go with neutral colours and no theme.

I'm ok this morning - soooo tired, achy, and I think m/s is creeping up. But I still can't believe I'm pregnant - I keep wondering if these are phantom symptoms - I'm a mess.
Our nursery will be in the sitting room attached to our master bedroom so we are going to keep it neutral and classic. Probably keep the tan walls, cherry furniture to match ours and just hints of blue or pink. I can't wait til that stage! Actually, I can't wait to all the stages beyond the first tri!

So far so good. A little nervous with some spotting last night and this morning, I have an appointment this afternoon with a nurse. We'll see what that brings, but no cramping or pain, no m/s. My bbs were really sore over the weekend, but not so much anymore.
As for a nursery if a boy we are going to do planes, trains, & automobiles... I haven't found one that I like for a girl yet. I just don't want to go ultra pink, I am thinking maybe a violet either animals or flowers. Not quite sure yet... both my husband, myself, & some friends that know all think we are having a boy. We'll see, I am just anxious about what today brings and everything else will fall into place when its suppose to.
Have a great day!

Doing okay. Last week was rough with nausea and insomnia. Saturday morning, it's like I magically woke up and felt fine, could sleep that night, etc. It almost has me worried that my symptoms practically disappeared! I'm trying not to worry too much, though.
Nursery...we decided to do gender-neutral even though we are finding out the sex. I don't want to have to redecorate if our 2nd baby is the opposite gender! I really like Dwell Studio's Lots of Dots (I think that's what it's called) on Target.com right now. For furniture, we are buying a stationary-side crib and matching dresser/changer and glider from Walmart.com. Really cheap but great quality!
Jimmie, mama to Zoey (March 2011)

Expecting another GIRL! Carter Grace due on 12/25.
I'm pretty good this morning. Really tired, but that's normal these days. No real updates for me, I'm about the same, maybe less nausea.
I have no clue what we'll do for the nursery. I already have furniture, but I don't really know how to decorate yet. I guess I'll think more about it when we find out the sex.

Doing okay this morning, but having major food aversions. Boobs still ache and I have had bad ligament pain for a week now. Bought a few maternity tops to last me through the summer and trying to hold out buying work maternity pants until absolutely necessary.
My first appointment is this Friday and I'm excited about that even though I won't have an ultrasound yet.
I have not thought about nursery themes yet, just trying to enjoy every moment of this pregnancy since it will probably be my last.
I just got my BFP and am waiting on betas this week to double. (Tues and Thurs), then at 6 weeks to find out how MANY babies are in there! I'm a high risk (35%) for multiples, according to my RE, and we had 2, maybe 3 follies, so.... the wait begins. My first HPT's were pretty dark.
We had bought 2 cribs for the twins (from IKEA - Gulliver) and kept one and sold one to a family member. We're very simple, clean and modern, and I also like the Dwell Studio line. Our nursery will be incredibly basic as we'll be on a major budget strain. I'll be quitting my job in a few weeks to focus full-time on gestating. We're refusing to have another loss and if that takes me putting myself in bed, we will do it.
Twin boys born too early at 17w4d and 18w2d in February 2010
Transabdominal cerclage placed September 2010
DS born at 35w1d in February 2011
Twin girls born at exactly 36w in February 2013
Still no m/s for me, but I didn't get it until 8 weeks or so w/ DD and it was horrible. So I'm just enjoying not having any until it starts. The only thing I'm really feeling is REALLY sore bbs. I also feel like I'm already starting to show. I had on a swimsuit yesterday, we took DD to the pool, and I was super self concious about it since no one knows yet. Guess we'll be telling after my first appointment at 8 weeks. Don't think I can wait until 12 this time around!
QOTW: We are also keeping the same nursery theme that we had w/ DD for this one. We just used a lot of neutral colors including lots of light, sage greens. We're finding out what this one is, so I'll be able to add a little more this time around. We never got to paint her walls since we were renting when she was born, but we may do that with this one since we own our house now! DD is going to get a big girl room though so I've been researching that. I really like pink and browns and polka dots, something we won't have to change in 3 years when she starts school. But who knows what we'll decide!

First appointment is today and I only have 30 minutes of work left! Yahoo!
I will update tomorrow about appointment!
QOTW: Depends on the sex... DD has a Winnie-the-pooh nursery now. So maybe a Lady bug for a girl and sports for a boy... Haven't given it to much thought....
Nursery plans: We're going to try to be Team Green this time. Since I've already decorated a boy nursery and a girl nursery I'm happy to go a little more neutral this time. Walls will be very pale yellow. All white bedding. I'll accent with small amounts of navy for a boy and light pink for a girl.
I have my first US appointment tomorrow, so no updates for me as of yet, but I am pretty excited.
QOTW:
Haven't really thought of nursery themes as I am thinking about how to fit three kids in a 2 bedroom TH, that we can't sale b/c the mortgage is upside down......The kids room is large with a bathroom, so maybe it won't hurt the three of them to share for a year or two until we can move into a bigger home. I think we will worry about decor only if we decide to find out baby's gender.
DH and I are going in for another ultrasound on Friday. I will be 8 weeks by then. I have had some pink spotting every other day for 6 days nothing major but last night I had some cramping so I've been a little nervous.
DD and LO will be sharing a nursery. Her furniture is white and LO will have a black set of furniture. I haven't thought of any theme ideas yet!
We aren't buying furniture until second trimester. And we wanted gender neutral walls so we don't have to change them every time (this will be the nursery for all kids, they will move into a bigger room for their big kid room).
Feeling pretty good the past couple of days. Still have aversions to food but not really having m/s. Boobs are bigger and tender.
QOTW: We have decided not to plan anything in the first-tri, (Previous losses have us a little hesitant.) It is hard because I want to get excited and shop and decorate.
I'm doing well. Most of my symptoms are major breast tenderness and they are HUGE and hard to hide. I get some "seasickness" type nausea but haven't vomited yet thank goodness!
I had pretty much figured out my nursery theme before my miscarriage in May so I'm sticking with that. My husband has an obsession with elephants and I found a beautiful crib set called Eli's Elephants on PBK. It is blue, but I think its neutral enough to use for a girl too - I'd just throw in some pink accents throughout the room.
Update: We have officially told family. We have also told a few friends but we are not public yet. US next Friday!
QOTW: We are not finding out the gender unless it is multiples, but either way we would like to go jungle theme. Although I have found a frog theme that I LOVE!!

I have not thought about nursery themes yet, just trying to enjoy every moment of this pregnancy since it will probably be my last.
My personal update is that I'm new here! (hi!)
I'm tired and have super sore boobsm butothr than that I feel pretty great! No food aversions or m/s yet.
QOTW: For a boy we will do a Curius George theme and for a girl we'll do a Wizard of Oz theme.

I'm doing good. Though I think I'm getting a cold
QOTW: Haven't thought too much about it yet. I think we're going to wait until we find out what we're having.
M/S SUCKS!! :-)
I'm starting to feel less tired, for now. Yay!
Here's our nursery so far:
We aren't buying furniture until second trimester. And we wanted gender neutral walls so we don't have to change them every time (this will be the nursery for all kids, they will move into a bigger room for their big kid room).
Life of mrsjanks
No personal updates except I do have my first appointment and u/s this Thursday. Can't wait!
QOTW: We are definitely waiting until we know the sex. DH wants a baseball themed nursery if we're having a boy and I just couldn't say no...unless it's a girl.
