North Dakota Babies

***Natalee***

I've got a good feeling about tomorrow for you!!!

Re: ***Natalee***

  • I'm glad that someone does!  I'm really trying not to dwell on the fact that there's no baby yet.  I'm feeling better than yesterday and I really appreciate everyone's support.

Kind of funny...as I mentioned, I'm suddenly being contacted by everyone wanting to know what is going on with the baby.  This includes my prenatal yoga instructor, who is also somewhat of a friend.  She texted me yesterday asking if there was any sign of labor, etc.  Then she so kindly lets me know that the 2 girls that I've been in class with since the beginning, both had their babies this week (Wednesday and yesterday.)  In case you couldn't guess, the one was due 2 weeks after me and the other 4 weeks after me.  (I'm NOT jealous that the one baby came 4 weeks early.)  Seriously, what is going on???

  • Oh gosh, I know hearing about all these other babies coming so early is probably making you crazy!!!!  Sorry.  I'm glad you're doing your best to not dwell on it.  I can't even imagine being 40+ weeks.  I was so miserable at 37 weeks.  I'm not going to tell you to hang in there, because I know you already are.

Are you done with work now?

  • I'm still hopeful for a 7/22 birthday to share, even though I really want you to be an outside mommy already!

Don't worry Natalee - you know it'll be soon!!!

  • Natalee,

I think that you are probably feeling exactly how I was feeling last week.  When is your next doctor's appointment?  Have they discussed an induction?  HUGS!!!

  • First of all, 7/22 has always been my guess for d-day.  It was the date that I actually calculated way back when I found out I was PG based on charting, so we'll see...

I am still working, but Friday was my last day in the office.  I just had my dad over here getting my new wireless router up and running so I'm all set to work from home until the baby decides it's time.  Yay for working in my PJs!  Although I definitely get more done in the office, this way I can relax without having to tap into my maternity leave.

I have my next appointment on Wednesday morning if labor doesn't begin before then.  (Which I would be shocked if I don't make it to my appointment!)  At that point, I believe he will schedule me for an induction probably for the following Tuesday, if available.  My OB says he doesn't want to go over 41 weeks and I would like to hold out as long as possible to allow the baby to comes when it's ready.  (Even though I've been b*tching about him or her not being here yet!)
