XP: Recurring mastitis

Has anyone had an infection that just won't go away and continued BFing?  Was there ever an end?  I had my 1st case back in June which returned a week after my 10 day antibiotic course ran out.  They did a culture, assuming it was the same infection that just wasn't treated aggressively enough, and I was given a 14 day course of a different med.  Now it's 5 days after that treatment ended and I'm pretty sure I have the beginnings of a relapse.  I don't know what else I can do - I massage the crap out of the thing, especially in the shower, and feed off it first every feeding.  The ironic thing is it's my "bum" boob - the right side, which is always way more full, never has a problem :P

    Have you looked for the clog? It should be a little white spot on your nipple. I think as long as that is still there you will keep getting blocked ducts and mastitis. Im(nonprofessional)o. When I had mastitis I looked like crazy for the white spot and after she nursed I would try to pick at it and unplug it. It usually comes out white and stringy and might take a few attempts. It took about two days for mine to completely be gone but I never needed antibiotics and it has never come back *knock on wood. Btw mine was also on my bum side.
