  I have to agree with PP.  You can't please everyone.  If it were me and I liked both names and didn't have a preference... I sure as heck would let DH's opinion outweigh my mom's.

  I voted Quinn because it's one of my fave names.  We'll be using it as a middle name if we have a girl.  Hazel is NMS and is too old-fashioned for me.

  I love Hazel because of the old fashioned style of it. Whatever you go with will be perfect. I agree with the 2 others so far, you can't please everyone.

  I voted Quinn because while I like old names, Hazel is nms. I really like the name Quinn though Depending on what your last name is Quinn Hazel could work. Just pick what you and your husband like best!

  I agree that you and DH should pick the name. If you like both I would let DH pick it. I would rather have everyone else not like the name rather than have DH not like the name.

  i like them both. it was hard to pick....but i went with Hazel because it's a family name and i think that is important. if i were to have picked Quinn, it would have been becasue both you AND your SO love it and that is also very important. i don't think you can go wrong either way. how does your SO feel about Hazel?

  i picked quinn because that was going to be our girl's name (we're having a boy). i really don't like hazel. it reminds me of that 50's television show about the maid..

  I voted for Quinn since that will be the name we will be using if this turns out to be a girl.  My grandmother was also Hazel, but it is too old fashioned for me.  I say choose the name you like best and you and your DH will be happy with. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks.
