Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Does your 7 m/o whine a lot?

Because mine sure has lately! He is great up until about 3:00 p.m (after his 2nd nap) and then he starts whining unless you carry him around and find new things to entertain him constantly. It seems that he gets bored really easily.

He's not like this daily, just seems like the last few he has been. He's not sick and not teething. He doesn't even cry, just complains and does this high-pitched whine. Anyone else? Tell me it's a normal phase please!

  • DD's only 6 mo's but she whines every night from 7p until she goes to bed.  I think it's just a combination of boredom and being tired.

  • My LO is totally doing the same thing, I have to just walk away or just ignore him and let him get it out.  He usually screams and whines at the same time.  I guess he is getting his vocals ready
  • Glad I'm not alone! He is usually tired when he does it, but the last two days he's done it even when he's not. Maybe he's just bored?
  • Tegan's been doing the same thing for the last few days. It seems like she wakes up from her afternoon nap and needs me to constantly hold and entertain her for the rest of the evening. She won't even go to DH, it has to be me. It's driving me nuts!!

  • Abi-that's exactly the case here, but he will stop whining for my other son or dh for a little while. My hubby's been gone for business all week and it's starting to get a little stressful dealing with it by myself!
