We are looking to buy DD a toddler bed sometime in the next few months. Either new or used but we definitely want wood. The wood ones I have seen used have wood slats that hold the mattress.

Is this what the new ones are like too? DD's crib converts to a toddler bed and has metal mattress supports but we are leaving it as a crib for the new baby. thanks!

yup, all the new ones I've seen have wooden slats for support.
