If your 18 month old only naps once a day..
1) what time does he or she nap?
2) what is his or her bedtime/wake up time?
My ds is going to bed a little later than I would like (9:00 ish) and is getting up around 8:30 with a nap from around 1-3. Does this seem like the norm, occasionally he sleeps longer for his naps and then has a hard time going to bed. Just wondering what others his age were in the habits of doing. Thanks!
Re: One-a-day nappers
Up at 630
Nap at 12-2or3
bedtime at 730
Well we aren't 18 mo. but are one-a-day nappers.
They sleep from 8:00 - 6:30 and nap from 12:00-2:00/2:30.
(Of course this is only when all the stars line up just right and no one is sick or teething.)
awake at about 830-9am. sometimes later
naps around noon-3. sometimes later.
goes to be at about 7pm
DS is only 12.5 months, but he has been down to 1 nap for a couple months now. He goes to bed at 8:30/9pm, wakes up at 7:15am during the week (we wake him up to leave). He typically naps from 11am-1/2pm.
On weekends he will sleep until 8:30 or 9am and then the nap moves later ...around 1-3/4pm.
DD is in DC, so they dictate her schedule during the week. We try to keep it consistent on the weekends, but occasionally she'll take 2 naps on the weekends. I'll answer according to our weekday schedule:
1. naptime is from 1:30-4:00 at DC. DD usually sleeps for 1.5-2 hours of that.
2. She goes to bed at 7:00pm, or thereabouts. She wakes up around 6:40am.
We're not 18 months, but she has the same schedule.
up at 8:30
nap 12:30-2:30 or 1-3
bedtime 9:00
If her nap is on the later side and she's already slept an hour and a half I wake her up by 4:00 so it doesn't mess with bedtime.
1) usually around 12:00 - 2:00
2) Sleeping 9-9:30, wakes up around 7:00
