Anyone else feel the baby's hb?

My DH thinks I'm crazy, but I swear I've felt the baby's hb. I don't know how to describe it, but I've always been able to feel my hb when I'm lying on my side, and it seems like sometimes I can also feel the baby's hb if I'm lying in a particular way. Either I'm crazy of I have heart problems.....

  • i thought that at first, too, especially when i saw my stomach move, but i think it's just my own pulse.  sorry to be a bummer.  :(

  • Yea... I know our blood flow increases during pregnancy, so it might be your hb you are feeling.

Yeah, I think it's your pulse. I've felt it too and always figured thats what it was.

  • Thanks ladies. Beetlebug, I freaked out when I saw my stomach move but I know that it was my own hb. I'm a little scared because what I'm feeling is a really fast hb.

I would love for you to ask your doctor this and then see a big fat ::head desk: from her. It's impossible to feel your baby's heartbeat. Sorry to disappoint.

  • Nope.  I understand about "feeling" your own hb, but most of us don't even feel movement yet, so the HB is probably not what you are feeling.
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

  • LOL.  No.
