Trying to Get Pregnant

Do PMS symptoms mean I'm probably not PG? :(

So the more I've been reading I'm pretty sure that the pains I'm experiencing (light cramping in the lower belly/pelvic region and lower back pain) are in fact PMS symptoms.

If I'm correct, does that mean AF is probably on it's way and I'm not PG this cycle? :(

Or is there still hope?

  • There is no way to know unless AF actually shows.

  • Do you chart? If you do please link your chart and we'll have a better idea as to where you are in your cycle. If you do not please do visit fertility friend and sign up, you can do so by clicking on any of our charts in our siggys. Those do sound like PMS pains but pregnancy symptoms are very similar to PMS symptoms so there really isn't a way to tell unless you're tempting etc. Good Luck!

  • The chances are stacked against you simply because the probability of getting pregnant in any given cycle is about 20%.  There is no telling until you get your period or a positive test.

When i was pregnant my PMS symptoms where the same as my pregnancy symptoms. I lower belly pains & was tired

  • Thanks Ladies!

I did not chart this past month - but I will be next month so that I don't have to guess anymore!!

  • my PG symptoms were basically the same so you're not out yet!!
  • I no longer pay attention to any symptoms I have during the 2ww. PMS and pregnancy symptoms are too similar and I drive myself crazy wondering. So, I just make note of what I feel, but know they mean nothing until AF shows or the pee stick has two lines.

    Good luck!
