If you really like Will I would just use that as a full name- I think it can stand on it's own. To me that makes more sense than searching for a full name you aren't that crazy about with the intention that he be called Will.

That's something I hadn't thought of. William Robert (nn Will) was our first choice, but then my mom was pushing me to use 'William' (we hadn't told her the name yet) and then her father passed away. His name was William, so she really got on me about it and she didn't really even like her dad all that much.
My Uncle's name was William and he passed away 6 years ago and has 3 girls who I imagine will be having kids within the next few years or so. I realize no one owns a name, I just don't want to make a big deal about it. William is a popular name in our family, but since we'd call him Will anyways, maybe that would be a better option for us.
