My baby is here! Second natural birth

Lucille Rose was born at 1:40 am on Monday morning! I was only in labor for about 2 1/2 hours total, from the first twinge of a contraction to her birth -- it was so fast! We only barely made it to the hospital, and I was still changing into the gown when I felt myself pushing. She is 8 lbs 9 oz and is the prettiest little girl ever.

I'll post a birth story soon, but all went well, and we are home!

Congrats! So happy to hear you had a great experience!

If you plan on having any more expect labor to be super fast. My 2nd baby was about a 3 hour labor and #3 was 45 minutes.

DS was the exact same size as your LO. So I am wondering....did you tear? I had a 2nd degree episiotomy because of his head size (that's what I was told was the reason.)

I was very fortunate not to tear -- I will say her head felt HUGE, much bigger than DS, and I give my MW all the credit for me not tearing or needing any stitches. She was fantastic.

My first labor was 12 hours, so have hope!
