Ok, not vs., because lets be honest, the Beatles can take her like Godzilla destroyed Japan (never have seen the movie, I'm guessing at some point Godzilla gets taken down, but for this analogy, think of the death, destruction and dismemberment of the city).
Does this picture bug you?

It's 'the' white piano. Apparently Sean Lennon put it out on twitter or FB or some such, and some of the Beatles fans are up in arms about it. I am most definitely a Beatles fan, and for the purposes of proper polling will not divulge my opinion quite yet, but tell yours!!! I'll make it clicky, but elaborate if you'd like!
Re: Poll - Gaga vs. the Beatles
Ok, so here's the thing: I love the Beatles. But I also love Gaga.
Which means I think the picture is pretty cool.
Can I just say I'm jealous she got to touch the piano? As a pianist and a huge beatles fan, I am far more jealous than offended.
For serious. Also, I am assuming that Sean Lennon or someone else close with the family LET her do it, so I don't see getting all up in arms about it. Maybe if she broke in to do it, then you could be pissed. But, it is Sean's piano now, and he can do as he likes with it.
I will say - in the article I read on it (on the illustrious Yahoo news) I was impressed at her piano skillz. Has had classical training since age 4?! Impressive - and much more skilled than I. I play a little bit of piano, but would honestly be intimidated to touch it. It doesn't bug me that she did, though. I'm not a huge fan, but the more I learn about her, the more I do have some respect for her. She's nothing if not unique.
Actually, it's Yoko's. It was a gift from John.
this.
Well, fine. The principle still stands :P
I need a JT.
Lady Gaga is actually way more talented than most artists out there right now. I agree, the Beatles can take her like Godzilla, but she writes (not co-writes or assists in writing or inspires) all her music (not just lyrics but she writes the music), she is awesome on the piano, she is a refreshing unique persona right now in the world of so many Mileys and Beyonces and Fergies. She respects other artists and pays homage to musicians who broke barriers, created rock, etc. She is one who would play that piano and not worry about the photo op or how hot she looked, but get some... inspiration and religion from such a moment and opportunity.
And I don't like her music. But I am glad she is on the scene.
K, you totally made me Google to know the backstory of the photo. This article sums it up and I think also sums up my opinion (Sean and I think alike):

Haha - THIS! I'm a pretty big Beatles fan (blame it on my hippy mother) but I guess it just doesn't bother me that much. It's his piano but it's not like she's peeing on it or something.
