I make all our food and try to limit the use of prepared food. I've played around with wholesomebabyfood.com and weelicious.com and feel that most of their "toddler" recipies and finger foods are a bit advanced for what LO is able (in terms of chewing) or willing to eat. I'm worried that I'm being a bit too cautious, but know that it takes babies up to two years to get their molars which we typically use to chew our food.
Just curious to see what others are feeding their 13 mo olds.
Thanks!
Re: What do u feed your 13 mo old?
bananas, grapes, strawberries, waffles, french toast sticks, chicken nuggets, chex mix, hot dogs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, hummus on bread, Danonino yogurt (so DS can eat it himself), cheeto puffs, pretzels, goldfish, apple (no skin), peaches (no skin), nectarines (no skin), canned pears, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese, etc.
Everything is obviously cut into bite sized pieces to avoid choking.
Pretty much everything we eat, just cut up really small.
