Babies: 6 - 9 Months

baby whisperer/PU/PD- success anyone?

If you tried the baby whisperer's approach of getting your child in a routine (EASY) or to get them to put themselves to sleep using PU/PD. Do you have any advice for me/tips/tricks?

I am going to have DH take off work for 3 days so that we can both do this together, the right way!

  • we aren't super strict on the EASY method, but use it for the most part with a lot of success. We started when he was about 2 months old and now his cues correspond with the EASY method.  We have had a small set back this weekend because he is teething and wants to BF to fall asleep at night, but as soon as the tooth pops out I'm sure we will go back to the usual routine (I hope!)

not successful for us at all - worst money I have spent as a mother was on those books!  Hopefully they will come in handy with #2.

  • We do follow the EASY routine for the most part.  Unfortunately for us, the PU/PD part of Baby Whisperer was a miserable failure for us - and we tried for quite a while.

I wish you the best of luck!
