I gave birth one year ago tomorrow! Time really flies.
I just went to my 36 week appt and my doctor sent me straight to the hospital for an emergency c-section (due to very severe pre-e).
3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again
Zachary was originally due Feb. 10, but they changed my due date to Feb. 2 halfway through my pregnancy based on u/s measurements. He was born on Feb. 9, so according to my original EDD he was one day early, or by my corrected EDD, he was 6 days late. I didn't have a LMP to date the pregnancy by since I was on BC when I got pregnant.
1st child, 38th week, 10 days early, water broke but had to have Pitocin to move things along and wound up w/ an Emergency C anyway. Water broke at 6:17am and DS was born at 3:59pm
4 days before my due date. I was induced. I hade gestational diabetes and they thought she was getting too big. I never dilated so they gave me something (can't remember the name) on Wednesday night. Thurs. morning they started me on Pitocin. I started pushing at 7:00pm-9:30pm and finally went for an emergency c-section. DD head was crooked and my pelvis was too small. She was born at 10:52pm.
I gave birth at 39 weeks 1 day (Tuesday morning)...early labor started at 38 weeks 4 days (late Saturday evening). A small second bag of water broke Monday night and I was admitted. The ER dr broke my actual bag of water around 1:30am. DD was born at 8:52am.
DS is my first. He was born 5 days late. My water broke on its own and contractions never really kicked in. I ended up on Pitocin after several hours of trying to get labor to kick in. I never got past 5cm, so after 31 hours, I had a c-section.
I started preterm labor at 31 weeks and my membranes ruptured the next day. It was a slow leak so I didn't lose much fluid at once so they put me in the hospital on bedrest and stopped my contractions. I gave birth at 33 weeks when the rest of my bag of water broke in a gush.

I gave birth one day after my due date, so 40 weeks, 1 day. I went into labor naturally but my water did not break on its own, they broke it at the hospital. I had a vaginal delivery.
Induced at 39w5d due to "advanced dilatation" and the fact that I was miserable. I was 4-5cm dilated for days and the Dr's decided that she probably wasn't going to come without a little bit of encouragement. I was just glad to get her out of there.
So, after 12 hours of labor, 2 hours of pushing and a vacuum, DD was born.
I was 4 days early. I started having contractions but I wasn't progressing like I should have so they had to help me along. They broke my water and gave me as much pitocin as they could. I was pretty much seconds away from a c-section since she got stuck but I finally got her out.
I went into labor at 38.5 weeks and was 4cm when I got to the hospital an hour and a half later. A few hours later the nurse checked to see how far dialated I was and as she did my water broke and I was also compete and ready to push. After a few pushes, Ella was born She is our first!
Scheduled induction, due to GD and growth u/s suggesting he'd be over 9 pounds, more if they waited another week (and I was showing no progress). Induction failed, had c-section. He was 7 pounds 8 ounces.
40w 5d. Went to hospital b/c of a fall on the stairs. Baby's heartrate indicated distress, they tried inducing to see if it would help, and it didn't. Ended up with a c-section. Very different from the the natural birth I was hoping for.
With ds I was 40w2d and I was induced (I had been 3cm dialated since 34 weeks), had a vaginal delivery- 11 hrs total (3 pushing)
With dd I was induced at 38w3d because my midwife was worried dd would be bigger than my ds if she was in there until she chose to come out (had a very difficult pushing experience with ds bec he was too big) I was 4 cm dialated for 32 weeks and everyone thought I was going to go into labor early. Had a vaginal delivery- close to 4 hours total (10 minutes of pushing)
I was 3 days late. I went into the hospital at 5.5 CM around midnight on a Saturday and delivered at 7AM on Sunday. Water broke on it's own. This is my first.
Re: Poll: When did you give birth?
(on it's own) about 3 hours after I received pitocin.
41w4d
induced
With my first, I was 10 days early - he was big, if he had stayed in there, he would have been nearly 11 lbs.
With my second, 3 days early.
