I've been reading along for a little while now so I figured it was time to introduce myself. DH and I have been married since March but have been friends for a long time. Since he's 41 and Im 37 w/ PCOS we haven't wasted anytime TTC. I have a 10yo daughter from a previous relationship. She wasn't planned and after the last few months of TTC I'm even more baffled as to how she came to be.
We've been on the TTC road since January when I started metformin, but I just finished my first cycle with clomid. The initial u/s in June showed things to be "looking better than expected with PCOS". I was in on Friday for an u/s and trigger - the u/s showed 2 eggs in each ovary but none were mature enough to do the trigger so I go back again on Monday morning. We agreed to try a few cycles with just the clomid and if that doesn't work we'll add in IUI.
