New to board - and question!

Hello,

So any ideas on what to do with the Sam's Club formula 3 lb canister after formula is gone? It doesn't appear to have a recyclable symbol on the bottom, and its so big to constantly throw away.

Thanks :)

  • Repurpose it.  Can you put one in your laundry room as a tiny trashcan for dryer lint?  If you sew, you can use one as a tiny trashcan for thread so your vacuum doesn't hate you... Or a tiny countertop trashcan for stinky things you might need to throw away and seal up to prevent main trashcan stink (like shrimp shells... ick).

  • Thanks for the idea's :) I already have one in the laundry room, but one for icky things in the kitchen sounds good!
  • They might also be a good size to make an indoor golf came out of.  In my college PE for teachers class, our professor told us how to make lots of crafts like that for rainy days we had to play games inside.  You could also save them for crafty things once your LO is older (seems like a great size to keep crayons or markers in... or a bottle of glue, a pair of scissors, etc.)

You could also wrap and mail packages in them.   Or make a piggy bank for DC...

  • Thats a great idea for using them to ship things.  I use ebay a lot.  Thanks again!
