I rearranged the stuff on our very limited countertop in the kitchen so that the coffee maker was not in front of the microwave door. In order to get everything in place, the toaster oven had to go below the paper towels (suspended below cabinets), which seemed kinda like a fire hazard, so I took the opportunity to remove them altogether.
They will live in the utility closet for pet messes and that's it - I've removed the temptation for Hubby to use them =D
Re: I just uninstalled my paper towel holder.
Woo hoo!
you get the EFF gold star!!!
I feel you on the no kitchen space! Maddening sometimes.
Funny story about paper towels. I'm so impressed with DH, he's the one who picked up the rags for us to use instead.
At my company we can get $20 for each testing panel survey we do. They send two rolls of paper towels (or toilet paper, or wipes...), and we fill out two usage comparision surveys.
Well, the due date for our last test came up and I realized we only used 2 sheets from the first roll... they give you two weeks.
It was cool because then I realized how much we actually use, and it made me giggle a bit.
