24 Hour Urine Test Timing Question

I woke up yesterday morning around 8, peed. Discarded that, as told my my midwife. Then the next time I peed was about 1 pm. So...do I continue my test until 8 am today or 1pm today?

    Don't think about it in time, you're pretty much done today after you collect your first morning pee. Don't collect anything else after today's first morning pee!! Wether you wake up at 8, 9, 10...so on doesn't matter.

    The hospital made me collect it for a full 24 hours exactly which started at 10:40 am and when 10:40 am the next day rolled around I was told to try to pee one last time before bringing it in.

    You finish at the time you started it the next day.  So you would finish it at 8am.  I'm jealous you can go that long between pees, I fill a jug and a half each time I have to do it.

    You empty your bladder at 8 AM today and that is the last thing you collect.

    And ditto about going that long between voids.  Geez!  I also filled up a jug and a half when I did it 1 week ago.
