i know you never wake a sleeping baby, but...(long)

I apologize in advance if this is just a long bable of nothing-ness, but....is it bad that A only ate 4xs today? granted if he's down for the night right now.

here's our day, and he's not entirely on formula yet only doing 1 bottle a day to slowly introduce it.

he went to bed last night around midnight, up this morn at 8. ate and played until 945, and back to sleep. 

Up again around 1145, and out and about we went, ate at 1:30 and little cat naps in the car-still out and about. 

we got home around 3:30 he went right down to sleep and woke up around 7. again he ate and played until 9 when he fed a little more, and right to sleep around 9:15.

2 of his feeds were directly from the breast, and 1 was 5oz formula, and 1 was a bottle made up for my mom incase she needed it last night (she was babysitting) so this bottle needed to be used.

i just don't know if he was tired from being out and about or what, but it seems like he's really sleeping alot and not eating enough. but i guess he would wake and eat if he was really starving huh?!?

    It does seem like he hasn't had very much to eat today.  I think at that age I was nursing G every 2-3 hours.  With that said, it seems he would probably let you know if he was hungry.  You might be up for a middle of the night feeding.

    I think he'll be fine.  Like you said, he'll wake up if he is hungry.  Kellen has gone longer stretches like that and I've found that he ends up doing more cluster feeding to make up for what he missed. 

    As long as he has a good amount of wet/dirty diapers a day and is gaining weight, let him sleep.

    Also, remember that formula fills babies up more, and makes them sleep more and longer,especially when they are just getting started on it.
