I need to stop buying things off t.v.

First, I was taken in by the infomercial for the Magic Bulllet Express (a small blender/chopper).  It turned out to be a PITA made of cheap plastic parts.  It didn't chop worth a darn either.

This time, I bought the Shark Portable Steam Pocket Cleaner.  It's a handheld steamer w/attachments to clean & sanitize windows, surfaces, etc. w/o the use of chemicals.

I tried it tonight & was sorely disappointed.  It just sprayed steam around, but really didn't clean anything well.  I could do a better job w/a wet rag.  I'm going to return it this week.  

Note to self:  Avoid infomercials!

    I bought & returned (from Kmart) one of those steam things...the infomercial makes it look like it's a freakin pressure washer in the palm of your hand.

    TV sucks :(

    My mom is a sucker for things off the t.v. Hah. But I have to say, she has made some good purchases. The Ronco Rotisserie has been the BEST thing she's bought off there though.

    I'm not going to lie........I love infomercials. I've only bought the bump its and the under the bed shoe organiser. LOL I had low expectations.......but they work. So happy shopper here! :P

    CVS made their own brand of the Magic Bullet and I've had mine for about 2 years... it still works like a charm!

    I have to admit I have a swivel sweeper and I love it.  I have considered buying another battery pack so I can go even longer without stopping.  We also have a Ronco knife set and it rocks my world.
