The night before last, the boys slept from 11pm-7am and I figured it was a fluke. A nice fluke, but a fluke nonetheless. But then last night they slept from 12pm-8am! One of them did wake briefly at 6.30am, but since he was only lightly fussing, I decided to give him a couple of minutes to see if he'd settle back down - and the next thing I knew, it was 8am!
SO. AWESOME.
I don't expect them to do this every night at this stage, but I'm definitely going to enjoy it while it lasts!
(BTW, I know I haven't been on much lately - my dad and stepmom are currently visiting and I'm spending all of my time with them. So hi everyone - hope all is well!)
Re: 8 hours of sleep - oh yeah, baby!
Kaya is getting better, too. She slept from 10:30-5:30 without a peep last night. I think we've managed to avoid the 4 month wakeful. Woohoo!
lucky you!!! i'm having the opposite problem...she's been waking every 2 hours at night!! argh. i attribute it to developmental milestones but i wish she'd get back to sleeping well already.
enjoy your visit w/the family! i'm sure they are eating up those cute little boys of yours

We're there with you Jaime....she'll only nap for 40-60 minutes about twice a day right now and doesn't want to go to sleep until midnight! ARG. I chalk it up to developmental milestones and teething (again). *sigh*

Wow! I've forgotten what that feels like.
We still haven't accomplished this. If I'm lucky he goes 5 hours, but mostly it's 3-4 and two feedings after I hit the sack.
Wow, 8 hours! The best we got was 5.5 hours. It went consistently for the last 2+ weeks, even when we were on vacation. And all of the sudden, we're back to 3 hours again for the last 2 days =(
Hope the boys keep it up! And hope your enjoying your time with dad & stepmom
