Looking for recommendations on any sort of sling/baby carriers. I know there have been a number of recalls lately, but want suggestions of any "safe" ones still on the market.
I have a 2.5 year old DD and am trying to visualize how to cart her and the twins with the double stroller!
Re: Slings/Baby Carriers
I love my Baby Bjorns. They have been around forever and are very safe.

I have 2 Baby K'tans and love them. You can carry both babies at one time until they're 10 lbs each. There's about 8 different holds you can do and can be used for both infants and toddlers. Its similar to a Moby but has more structure. I avoided the Moby since I thought I would be flustered trying to figure out a huge piece of fabric with 2 screaming babies. The K'tan is a great alternative.
Ring slings are popular for newborns. I tried it and didn't like I was probably doing it wrong.
Like pp said Ergos are also well liked. It can be used for infants and toddlers. You can't do a forward facing hold which both my babies love, so I don't have one.
Baby Bjorn are easily available. We have one, but only my DH uses it. Most women find it hurts their back after a while. Men like it because its simple to use. Its not good for the baby to be in it too long as the baby just dangles from the crotch area and can be uncomfortable or injure their hips after lengthy use.
My next purchase will be a Mei Tai carrier. Its comfortable and easy to use and is pretty much an Asian style carrier that has been used forever.
You can search for these different carriers on youtube to see what they look like and how to use them. Some local hospitals and baby stores also have baby wearing workshops where you can try in different ones. HTH.
