3rd birthday ideas

I need some ideas for a 3 year old boy.  He loves Thomas but has a ton already.  Him mom is  very EF.  I am not sure I will have time to make anything with LO due anytime.

    What about a wood puzzle or some wood toy cars?

    Are you talking about my DS?  This totally sounds like him.  He turned 3 in Feb.  We love to get Thomas books, puzzles and card games.  He has Uno Jr and Go Fish (both w/Thomas characters on them).  We got them at Target and he is loves, loves, loves them.   I know none of these things are EF but they're not plastic toys that require batteries so they're ok in our house.
